The only thing getting me through spending Shabbat The only thing getting me through spending Shabbat alone is that the end is so near ! Bidud (quarantine) really flew by and after 6 weeks being with people nonstop I was totally thrilled for a little time on my own. I caught up on a ton of work and also binged too much Netflix. Oh well 😅 I’m the most excited to go grocery shopping for myself again (hopefully tomorrow!) I found that Shufersal delivery was super unreliable and I would end up getting only 2/3 of what I ordered. I also kept noticing over the week that I was out of staples that I normally have on hand. Additionally I’m just really in need of a big bowl of good hummus. What’s the first thing you go do after Bidud/ seger?
Bae-goals 😍😍 I dreamed about going to @mode Bae-goals 😍😍 I dreamed about going to @modernbreadandbagel for over a year before I finally made it. And the biggest power move of my trip was bringing back bagels for my quarantine. Breakfast sammies are my FAVE way to start the day especially when there is avocado involved. The bagels from Modern Bread are easily the best gluten free bagels I’ve ever had and the only store bough gf bagels that actually taste like a proper bagel. It’s not easy to impress me when it comes to gluten free bread but these blew me away. Also swipe right for a close up of their out of this world Cinnamon roll.
As far as vegan gluten free options go in NYC, my As far as vegan gluten free options go in NYC, my favorite of the places I tried was easily @little_choc. This burrito crepe was loaded with black beans, avocado, spicy chipotle, vegan cheese, and topped with coconut “bacon” that was out of this world. The newtella mocha was also top notch. Just a hint of sweetness while still having the double shot of espresso I needed to stay awake for my 11:45 pm flight. I strongly recommend it ☕️ For anyone in the city right now looking for places with outdoor seating, they the cutest little outdoor hut with heaters. They are 100% gluten free and vegan.
Where would you start? I recommend with the frie Where would you start? I recommend with the fries! 🍟 @senzaglutennyc After what feels like a year (but in reality was only 6 weeks), I am sitting at my gate waiting to board my flight back to Israel! I am feeling really grateful to have had this time with my family and friends + the chance to meet with some clients but I am ready to be back home with Bari the bun bun! I am now gladly accepting creative ideas for how to pass the time in quarantine and then lockdown. What fun things have gotten you through long hours in a small apartment?
