Mistabra is a fairly new, very cute dairy Mehadrin cafe in the heart of Rechavia. Located right on Azza street, it offers the perfect quiet atmosphere for an afternoon of studying as well as makes a great location for date night.
Their menu features classic dairy cafe dishes including shakshuka and pasta with a little French flair like crossiant sandwiches and a cheese plate. (Although I personally didn’t find the cheese plate to be anything special. If you’re looking for a great cheese plate check out my review of Cohens Deli.)
For those of you gluten free friends, they have gluten free pasta, salads, and dessert.
It is a little bit on the pricier side with dishes ranging from the 50 shekel to 68 shekel.
If you’re looking for drinks, they have the best iced vanilla latte in town! For the evening, (or afternoon or morning you know I’m not judging) they have wine both by the bottle and the glass.
My favorite dish is their gluten free green pasta which can be made vegan and comes with artichokes, zucchini, and pesto. As a non vegan I prefer it covered in Parmesan but it is delicious either way!
