Almond Flour Refined Sugar Free Banana Bread

When I was looking for a simple, gluten free and refined sugar free banana bread recipe that didn’t involve a million ingredients that I don’t keep at home, I came up empty handed. This recipe involves only 9 ingredients that most of us have at home, at least in Israel or middle eastern households, and even my anti-banana-bread friends said it was delicious!

Almond Flour Refined Sugar Free Banana Bread

This gluten free and refined sugar free banana bread is a super simple and delicious recipe even the most picky of eaters will love!

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup tahini
  • 2 tablespoons silan date syrup
  • Vanilla
  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1 tsp pumpkin spice
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Optional: dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and spray your loaf pan with oil, I like to use olive oil.
  • In a large bowl, mash the banana. Once it’s mashed, add in the eggs, tahini, silan, and vanilla.
  • When your wet ingredients are combined, add in the pumpkin spice, baking powder, and almond flour. Stir until combined. This is where you would add chocolate chips if using.
  • Pour the bater into your greased baking dish and pop in the oven for 35-40 minutes or until the top is brown.
  • Let the cake cool before cutting.
